Installation Instructions

Threaded Side (NPT):

1. Apply PTFE tape or approved thread sealant to male threads.

2. Thread adapter into female fitting carefully.

3. Tighten securely with a wrench without overtightening.

PEX-A Side (Cold Expansion):

1. Cut PEX-A pipe square and remove burrs.

2. Slide a 1/2-inch PEX expansion ring onto the pipe.

3. Expand pipe with a cold-expansion tool, rotate slightly for even expansion.

4. Insert fitting barb fully into expanded pipe.

5. Hold for a few seconds to allow tubing contraction around the barb.
