Cold Expansion Installation:
This adapter utilizes cold-expansion technology for PEX-A tubing. Installation requires a 3/4 in. cold-expansion tool (sold separately) and a compatible expansion ring (sold separately). The PEX tubing is expanded over the barbed fitting, and as it contracts, it forms a permanent, leak-free seal without the need for go/no-go gauges. This method ensures consistent, high-quality connections and superior flow performance, with up to 25% greater flow compared to standard PEX fittings.
