What the Fitting Does:

Spigot end (1-1/2") – This side is the same outer diameter as 1-1/2" SCH40 PVC pipe, so it fits perfectly into any 1-1/2" SCH40/80 socket fitting (such as a coupling, tee, or elbow).

Socket end (1") – This side accepts standard 1" PVC pipe inserted into it.
